Please take a moment to read before applying to Foster

We are looking for a person(s) or family who understands that Rescue Dogs need time to acclimate. To adjust to change and all new expectations. It is just like starting a new job, attending a new school or moving to a brand new area. 

Think about how long it would take you to learn what was expected of you in your new position at a new company. How much time would be needed for you or your child to feel comfortable with a new teacher or learn new lessons taught? How long would it take you and or your family to settle into a new city. Meeting new neighbors, understanding HOA rules (🤣🙄) and even learning the idiosyncrasies of your new home. It all takes time.

It would take more than a few days. You would need guidance from coworkers/management, fellow students and teachers & neighbors. You  would need TIME to adjust & learn. It is the same for any new dog. Possibly even moreso for any Rescue dog.

We are looking for homes who understands, embraces and will be committed to allowing them the time needed to adjust.  A person or family who will support and encourage them along the way.
